Company overview.

The Stone’s Throw Media journey began in 2011, when two university graduates (Matt Weston and Mike Chinn) decided to launch their own company with two goals in mind:

  • To make the world of corporate video more exciting and visually stimulating
  • To keep messages simple but effective

Since then, there have been numerous offices and a whole heap of ups and downs, but through it all the Stone’s Throw ethos has never changed.

Six years on, we’re proud to say that we’re still creating fantastic video content which can really make our clients stand out from the crowd.

How we helped.

Enterprise action supported us with expenditure on new equipment, workshops and mentoring. This has allowed us to upgrade some of our kit to help future proof the business. The money saved has gone back into the business to recruit new staff. The mentoring has been invaluable by giving us an expert mentor to help check over the performance from the outside looking in.

What advice would you give?

Go for it – there’s so much support from the team and from their offering. It is a fantastic scheme which has helped our business massively.
